Day 1 - A New Beginning

Today, I begin a 40-day journey to seek the Face of God concerning my photography business. The en Theos part of my business name actually means inspired by God. I am inspired by the beauty of His creation all around me. I marvel at the intricacies of even the simplest flowers. But more than this, I am inspired by Jesus being in my heart. He came into my life and saved me from myself at the age of 29 at a time when I was self-destructing. I spent many years struggling with living between my new-found salvation and wicked ways in which I had lived my life. The struggle between the old man and the new man....between my regenerated spirit and my flesh was constant and daily.

Thank for for His Word! As I began to read my Bible (which had been in my home untouched for years), my eyes were open to the truth about God...He LOVED ME!!!!! He loved me enough to know that I could not make it on this road of life alone. He sent His Son Jesus as a sacrifice for my sins....past, present and future. He died so that I might share eternal life in His presence. He died for you as well. He is waiting for you to realize that you can't make it without Him. Allow Him access to your heart. Let Him come in and heal your woundedness. Give Him your life today. I don't promise that life will be all sunshine and roses once you ask Jesus into your heart...actually, all hell may break lose. But now you will have Jesus con your side, showing you how to navigate through the struggles. Thank you for joining me on my 40-day journey.
