Day 13 - How Do You Spell Protection?

Have you ever been in a bind,legally, financially or relationally! Of course you have...we all have. Who is the first person you call? Is it your mom/dad, brother/sister, a trusted friend, an attorney or some other 'expert'? How many times have we sought the advice of mere mortals instead of taking the problems to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit?

Here are just a few examples of what God's Word commands us to do:

Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. (Psalm 55:22 NASB)

Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 NASB)

But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! (Matthew 6:30 NASB)

And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? (Matthew 6:27 NASB)

"Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. (John 14:1 NASB)

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 NASB)

My favorite: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses ALLcomprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6, 7 NASB)

God's Word is full of reminders of His great love and care for us. Lord, help me to remember to seek You first. I know that if you have "content area experts" that I need to consult, You will point me in the right direction. Forgive me for seeking others before I come to The Expert of ALL.
